The Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan receives 79 percent of its annual funding from the community. While families are encouraged to donate $10/night during their stay, families are never turned away for their inability to pay and are welcome to stay as long as they need so long as they have a child receiving medical treatment.
The Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan serves families from around the state and beyond who have a child in one of the local hospitals or clinics. The House offers a warm and caring environment where families can have home-cooked meals, a place for siblings to play and a comfortable space to sleep close to the hospital room where they spend countless hours with an ill child.
Current volunteer opportunities:
The Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan's 2017 Run for the House is coming up on Saturday, March 18, 2017, and we need your help (if you're not running, of course). Each year, approximately 150 volunteers come together to put on the Run for the House, helping with everything from table set-up and registration to parking and course marshals.
If you're willing to spend your Saturday helping to raise funds for families of ill children, there are many volunteer opportunities available. To register to be a volunteer, please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/Volunteer/MI/Okemos/RunfortheHouseMichigan for times, duties and sign-up.
